Guest Lecture on Digital Signal Process

The Guest lecture was organized by IETE-SMEC under Communications Society. The main Agenda of this session was to get a complete idea on Digital Signal Processing. This session was carried out by Mrs.Tirupathamma Currently working as Associate professor at JNTU, Jagithyala in electronics and communications department. She has published many international journals and also guiding M.Tech projects. Professor explained about FIR Filters and IIR Filter. Professor not only gave guest lecture on Digital Signal Processing but also gave tips on MATLAB which is a Basic Simulation, How to read electronics subjects and tips for that is also given which were very useful to an electronics and communication studying engineer. Students took active participation by listening and also noted down the important points given by the Professor. She not only gave lecture on the subject but what kind of projects can also be developed using MATLAB and various subjects.

Industrial visit to Hi-Q TEST EQUIPMENT Pvt Ltd for students 2017-18 II SEM

St. Martin’s Engineering College had organized an industrial visit on 24th Jan 2018 to Hi-Q TEST EQUIPMENT PVT LTD. Located in industrial sector of Kushaiguda from Dhulapally via Kaukoor for the students of B.Tech ECE III Year A Section. The visit was organized with prior permission and guidance of Head of the Dept. Dr. D.R.V.A Sharath Kumar. V.V.Ramana Rao and M.Mounika. were Organizers, Ravichander B. were coordinators for this industrial visit.

St. Martin’s Engineering College had organized an industrial visit on 9th Jan 2018 to LED CHIP INDUS PVT LTD. Located in industrial sector of Kushaiguda from Dhulapally via Kaukoor for the students of B.Tech ECE II Year C Section. The visit was organized with prior permission and guidance of Head of the Dept. Dr. D.R.V.A Sharath Kumar. 1) The ECE Department was conducted a Guest lecture on “Communication Challenges in Design of a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)” by Col. Harmeet Singh Dhot, Retd VSM – Indian Defense on 24-02-2015(Tuesday) to enhance students knowledge in wireless communication in defense areas.

2) The ECE Department inaugurated ISF (IETE Students’ Forum) on Wednesday, 25th March, 2015.

3) The ECE Department Organized a Two day FDP on “ FPGA & ASIC DESIGN
using XILINX & MENTOR GRAPHICS ” by M. SHARATH KANTH, Application
Engineer, Core-EL Technologies, Hyderabad, on 18th & 19th June 2015 to explore
the knowledge in VLSI Design.
4) The ECE Department inaugurated Student Technical Association - ECTA
(Electronics & Communication Technical Association) on 16th September, 2015.
